Pop Evil releases their lead single 'Trenches' video
Pop Evil have unleashed the video for their lead single ‘Trenches’ off of their forthcoming album ‘Onyx,’ which is due out May 14 via eOne Music.
The video was shot by Swedish director Johan Carlen. It is the third part of a video trilogy, but the first to be released. The prior segments will be unveiled with the albums upcoming singles and their videos serving as Part 1 and 2.
The clip for ‘Trenches’ shows the band in slick black suits rocking out as frontman Leigh Kakaty’s sings the song’s powerful lyrics.
“We wanted to portray a realistic view on the issues of addiction and abuse,” says the band in a statement. “We hope it makes the viewer take a positive approach on looking at themselves for strength and hope that tomorrow is another day closer to absolution.”
‘Trenches’ has already been rising up the rock charts and it’s no doubt Pop Evil fans are ready and waiting for ‘Onyx.’ Fans can also catch the band on tour in the U.S. through August.
